Refractory Sales Engineer
Requisiti
MasterĀ“s degree in Engineering, preferably with focus on Metallurgy, Material Science
At least 5 years of professional experience in refractory technical sales in the steel industry or in steel production or in refractory production.
Knowledge of steel production and related processes as well as understanding of the related applications of the refractory products.
Strategic thinking and entrepreneurial mindset.
Confident presentation of communication and negotiation skills.
Analytical and goal-oriented working style.
Team player/networker in an international environment.
German native or C1/C2
English minimum B2
Compiti
Manage and expand the existing customer base in the steel industry.
Acquire new customers, analyse market potentials and developments.
Advice customers on selecting the right refractory products and solutions.
Organise the necessary technical and commercial visits to the customers.
Understand technical specifications/drawings and customer requirements.
Supervise refractory installations and trials follow up.
Ability to work when required in a heavy industry environment.
Prepare quotations and conducting negotiations.
Manage the commercial topics around the order process.
Monitor market trends and develop sales strategies.
Participate in trade fairs and industry events.
Report to the Management in Switzerland.
